Marc Bailey
Principal Architect and Owner
Growing up in rural New Jersey, Marc spent his youth in the coastal towns of Ocean County. In 1985 he began studying architecture and building science at Virginia Tech, earning a Bachelor of Architecture. Early in his career he worked in Frederick Maryland, the outskirts of Atlanta Georgia, and the Front Range of Colorado where he worked in Boulder, before returning east in 2001.
Designing homes has always been his passion and for nearly 25 years the landscape, history, and people of the Hudson Valley have been his primary inspiration. Marc’s practice has been enriched by collaborations with talented designers, builders, architects, and clients – most notably his long association with his mentor, architect Dennis Wedlick. In 2010 the firm was named an Architectural Digest top 100 design firm. In later years their work drew attention for energy efficient Passive House projects; including the first certified Passive House church in America, private residences in Columbia County, and several projects for Habitat for Humanity.
His portfolio includes homes in Colorado, Michigan, South Carolina, Georgia, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, with many notable commissions in the Hudson Valley.
Today Marc and his associates work closely with each client to thoughtfully and beautifully realize their aspirations for home.
Kaitlyn Bailey
Project Designer
Kaitlyn brings a thoughtful, creative eye to every project, helping our clients’ ideas and aspirations become beautifully realized homes. Her work spans both interior and exterior design, collaborating on many of our homes throughout Columbia County, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. Since 2018, she has shaped spaces with a range of influences—from modern simplicity to classical detail and Japanese-inspired interiors—always with a focus on creating something timeless.
Kaitlyn believes that great design starts with a strong relationship. She takes the time to study a client’s preferences, guiding them through a collaborative and enjoyable design process. Whether design tastes lean modern, traditional, or somewhere in between, Kaitlyn approaches every detail with care and creativity, to realize a design that is uniquely personal.
A lifelong resident of New York’s Capital Region, Kaitlyn draws inspiration from the natural beauty around her. While her work brings her great joy and satisfaction, her heart beats for the quiet, cozy moments at home with her husband and young son.
Jennifer Brodowski
Project Designer
Jennifer Brodowski is an award-winning interior designer known for creating refined, highly functional spaces that reflect the individuality of each client. A graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design, she has specialized in kitchen and bath design since 2007, earning recognition throughout the Berkshires, Hudson Valley, and Capital District.
Jennifer’s work is defined by a balance of beauty and function, guided by a deep respect for each client’s vision and the character of their home. She approaches every project with careful listening and a refined design sensibility, creating spaces that feel timeless, personal, and effortlessly livable.
From concept through completion, she brings creative clarity, technical expertise, and a collaborative spirit to each project in the studio. Her ability to translate a vision into livable, enduring design results in interiors that are beautiful and truly enhance the way our clients live.
When she’s not in the studio, Jennifer enjoys reimagining her own home, alongside her husband, two children and their dogs. She can also often be found enthusiastically cheering the kids on the sidelines of a local game.
